Bringbacktheswanseacorkferry.com - Help Us!
How can I help ?
We’ve had many enquiries from you - asking how you can help ...?
Here are just a few ideas - if you have any better ones then please let us know
1) Please contact your local Representatives - including TD’s / MPs, Senators, Ministers, (UK MP’s), Local Councillors, County Managers, Port of Cork etc - Contact them by phone, email, letter or face-to-face. Be polite but firm - explain how you are being affected by the loss of the Ferry, ask them what they are doing to get the service restored. Please let us know how you get on.
This campaign is not party-political. If a particular person in the following list doesn’t have their email listed, it’s nothing personal - it’s just that some Parties make their folks’ email addresses freely available - and some of them don’t - no matter how hard you try.... If your name appears on this list without an email address - please email us and let us know where to contact you - Thanks.

2) Please pass the word on - about this website. Ask all of your friends, clients, customers and contacts to visit the site and add their support to our e-petition. Lots of ‘signatures’ proves that the issue of the Ferry is vitally important to this part of the country.
3) If you have a website - please link to us!
There’s even a handy ‘button’ - that you’re welcome to use on your website - just right-click on this image to save it on your computer then paste it into your website and make it onto a link... thanks !
4) Please download our car / window / whatever sticker - and put it somewhere where people can see it. While you’re at it - print a couple of extra copies and give them to your friends. If you have a shop or business, please print off a stack of them and give them away to your customers - and ask them to visit the website and sign the e-petitionI Take a great photo of your sticker in an unusual situation and win a free button badge when we publish it ! See our StickerSpotter page for more details
5) Please help us with media publicity - if you work in press, radio or TV then please help us to publicise the campaign, and give this important issue the prominence it deserves. We are happy to give interviews, supply photos, provide press releases or even provide complete articles ready-for-press. There are many ‘angles’ to this story... and we’ll do all that we can to help you bring it to the public notice. Contact us
And finally..... 6) Please don’t give up! It would be very easy to simply ‘do nothing’ - but if we do nothing then nothing will get done! We have waited long enough for ‘somebody’ to do ‘something’ - meanwhile businesses in our region are closing, tourists aren’t visiting, and the South-west of Ireland and South Wales continues to suffer.
Isn’t it about time for some action ?
Please do whatever you can to help - and if you have any great ideas to add to the list above - please tell us - we’d love to hear them.
Together we can make this work !
